I just couldn't help myself...
7% paypal fees? He's having a laugh isn't he?Youre Biddin on a smurf wuth Colabottle which I found on an market in Belgium ,I do not know if its fake,I accept paypal with 7% fees extra ,and only ship on monday.
If people buy them they will keep on being made, therefore we have to try and educate buyers as to what is and isn't a good buy.I have to agree with you that buying fakes encourages more fakes to be made and sold. Unfortunatly it's something that we can't control
I agree with Fram, I have seen dozens of these unpainted cones sell in recent times, my hunch is someone is making pvc parts.
I also tend to look at what else is being sold to get a picture of what a seller is like and in this case personally I wouldn't spend much money on any of his items. I think sellers forget sometimes that once they start selling any dubious smurfs then everything they sell becomes questionable.

As to whether yours are real, I don't know, it will be interesting to see if the seller lists more again soon...........
Nope, they are fake. Even if we can't tell them apart, they are fake. They are not original, not licensed, and made with the intention to deceive. They ruin the market, ruin the collecting fun, and only make the makers / sellers rich.rare smurf ask him to sell a white cone to you
are these real or not i couldnt say i know some stores in holland sell these where they get them i dont know but i think they are real
and whats real!!???
for example
if an old schleich employ gets a hold on a machine to make these and uses other pvc and the same pvc
are these than real or fake???
i think these are real
This is actually my whole point! This is our hobby and for some our life (been dramatic here - lol!), lets all try figure this out and we can actually make a difference here...
To be honest, my opinion on this is that if anyone is prepared to pay a lot of money on something without doing any homework, well more fool them. You wouldn't just go and buy a TV or a car on Ebay without finding out a bit more first so it would be silly to do this in a hobby. I am not talking about a few quid, I mean £30, £50 even £100 on an old toy that could quite easily be worthless.Yes you may get the odd buyer (or even many buyers) that don't know any better...and will buy it because they have just bought a Katalog and from what they can see, is that they are about to get a rare smurf.
You would be suprised at how many of these dodgy sellers we have already had thrown off Ebay. It is easier said than done finding out who is actually making alot of the stuff but we will never give up.........How do we combat this? Cut the problem off at the head!!!
Do some investigative work and find out how these are been made and put a stop to it.
Fram I told you not to wear that skirt in public!!!!!That's the fighting spirit I like to see girls!!!
