I agree totally with your list... maybe not completely with Queen Elizabeth but think she could fit as well.... However the idea of Ramses and Charlemange is superb. Ceaser seems to be an all round favorite and Napoleon would make a hit as well. The following are some more ideas:

Syd Smurf: tsk tsk tsk we have so much more in New Zealand than just sheep.. like the Cricket, League, Rugby world trophies and king kong, lord of the rings, narnia.. and okay international sheep racing, sheep olympics and sheep film festival. Hi Syd Smurf, Don't tell anyone coz its a secret, but the reason the NZ is doing so well at the moment is that we are all wearing ADIDAS under our swanys and gumboots, which as we know is an acronym for "All Day I Dream About Smurf".

Schleich have actually asked for ideas from us (collectors) in the past, I think it was a couple of years ago was the last time. There were some fantastic suggestions, some of which have been mentioned here again but they released the soccer theme smurfs instead. Maybe they are storing up the ideas for the future.

Well I started a bundle of the aforementioned smurfs last night had pulled apart 'smurf in a box' for spare parts... I have had so many smurfs in production over a long period of time and so have lost my motivation on them.
