Oh! All the Smurfs antics coming out now! :) :)

Do youremember the episode of French & Saunders where they talk about selling a papa smurf at an auction for a very high amount of money?
I think we talked about it on the forum at the time... funny how many reference to Smurfs you can find!!! :)
That was the Vicar of Dibly! It was a comic relief sketch, very funny.
The antiques road show came to Dibly and Alice took her Papa smurf. Her dad had told her it was worth £2000! (I'm sure I've seen some ebay sellers list them for more than that :) :) :) )

Did anyone see the Lou and Andy sketch in Little Britain?

I haven't seen Black Books yet (I wanted to see it, but around midnight on a weekday is a bit too late for me). I like French and Saunders. And I just received the complete 4 series of Coupling on a 7 disc DVD set as a New Year's Gift! :-D
We only have a few things on DVD yet, some movies (Lord of the Rings) and some series (Blackadder, Yes Minister, and most of Cold Feet). I have now also received a box with 3 Monthy Python movies, :woohoo: :twirl:
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

Funnily enough they showed the smurf sketch again on a "review of the year type show" on New Years Eve. :D

We watched the Dylan Moran DVD again last night, the smurf bit was still very very funny. I had better not type it up on here though as it is very rude.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I just asked my husband if he had ever watched Black Books and he said yes. He said it was intelligent humour and there was no point me watching it because it would go straight over my head. :( :( :(

It is available on dvd - that's how I saw it :-D The bad news is you can only get it as part of the Vicar of Dibly box set which is just way expensive for what it is. It's the complete VoD on 5 disks for £60! Except there's only really enough material of fill about 3/4 disks. two of the disks only have two episodes on. I think it's a rip off but as I love the series....

:banghead: :) :) :) :) :)
