Hi Heather,

I wish! I would like to go one year but it won't be this year. As I will be going off on maternity leave shortly we need to save as much money as we can for the time off I will have.

July 5th but as I had a caesarian with Eloise I will have to have one with this one also and the doc said they will probably do it a week or two earlier.

I'll probably just work first term of school (so another 10 weeks or so) and then that will be it till Bubba Jubba 2 comes along :D

Much as I would love to go......... I think having a new baby more than anything else will keep me at home this year!

Less than a month to go now, YAY. Honestly eight months pregnant and 4 days straight of over 40C is not much fun

Ah poor Trish, it's not much fun is it? I think your body deliberately makes you desperate to get it out to stop you being afraid of the birth, nature's way or something.

Hi Trish

I know about being pregnant in the heat.....let me re-phrase that.

Hi Trish

Mrs Dyar let me know all about being pregnant in the heat. I hope you are coping alright and the child turns out to be very good to you to make up for all of the hot days you looked after him in your belly. It's a good thing us guys don't get pregnant as we would proabbly get the urge to drink more beer and watch more football.....and this isn't really possible for of some of us.

As far as Passion goes.....well I would love to go. It's possible I could go next year instead of going to the US but probably unlikely at this stage. Maybe the year after I would go as I have some nice friends in Germany and also a good friend of mine from the school days married a guy from the Netherlands and has been living there for about 10 years now that I would love to visit on the same trip. Not to mention catching up with the UK gang perhaps as well as Fram, Dennis, Christy and everybody else. It would be pretty amazing to do that. I doubt it would happen next year but perhaps the year after if I am still smurfing like I have been doing over the last few years.

Next year I hope to catch up with Stace, Gerda, Jim and possibly even John & Tina (who wrote the Smurfs Around The World Book) in Florida. It may take some hitchhiking to get there but Syd and me could try.

Dyar

I wish hey! I couldn't see myself going to Germany for the passion fair. Would be amazing though. Love seeing the photos from the fair each year. So many smurfs..... Hope you end up going Heather!

and yes very hot here in Adelaide last week.

Brad.

Belgium, not Germany :x

It would be lovely to have any of the Aussies here, be sure to check us out if you come of course, we'll buy you a drink (a good Belgian beer if you like!).

Trish, good luck with the last month of your pregnancy, I hope it gets a bit cooler, as it must be horrible.

i'll hopefully be taking you up on that drink offer fram, probably more likely be a coke or something like that.

just a couple of questions for those who went last year.

what was the name of the hotel you guys stayed at?
does la louviere (excuse the spelling) have a train station?

thanks in advance
heather

La Louviere has a train station, you can get direct from Brussels to La Louviere by train. We stayed at www.akena.be

If you can get a plane into Charleroi Airport (South Brussels) airport then you will be much closer to La Louviere than flying into Brussels I think. Ryanair.com do some flights into there but I don't think they are suitable departure airports for what you will want.
