It's always puzzled me as to why he is always so much more expensive than the rest of the history series. i can't imagine that they made fewer of him, that makes no sense. Any theories?

Hi Martin, a very good question indeed. I have often wondered this myself but have never got past the wondering bit......... :o

Anyone know. :?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I have no idea either and it was a good question to ask. Perhaps more got damaged or something....or maybe someone has a Thomas Edison fetish and tried to buy them all up leaving fewer for the rest of the world.

I think it is because he is my icon and people see him and think instantly of me... and of course go into a bidding frency over getting close to me :) :) :)
Ok.. that's not it, but worth a shot :???: :???: :) :) :) :)

gerda

ps. I do think he may have broken more easily than the rest. The light bulb is an easily broken off piece.

I think you might be right there, Gerda, about them being more breakable.

Well I'm not saying Gerda is a 100% correct but I did rename the smurf room the Gerda Edison Smurf Room......I may of also brushed the 40th Anniversay Band off the stage and put that smurf on the stage instead in all its glory.....ok, medicine time before I freak Gerda out too much. :)
