Hi there

I received these 4 plush smurfs today that I thought were actually Trudi ones but after reading the labels and everything I discovered that they were Irwin (Toy Island) Plush Smurfs. I think these are still quite nice though compared to some of the other hideous ones available.

There was 1 large Papa that apparently plays some sort of smurf music when you push his tummy although I think the batteries might of died....and then 3 medium sized ones including Papa (with sunnies), Smurfette & I am guessing a Smurfling of some sort.

Here are the pics

Nice Dyar..I agree they are nice..much nicer than some of the plushes you get :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I paid $27 US postage for them....which is fairly high but they were very well packed and the box was huge.

toys r us stocked these back in the mid 90's when the smurfs made a mini comeback. that is where i picked up mine. The talking feeding baby was also part of the same line released at that time along with several of the carded smurfs..
the papa plays the smurf theme.. I think you can change the batteries on them they are the button type. batteries.

I have this musical Papa and a similar normal Smurf as well. I don't remember if mine is an Irwin though, may be another license, but it's not a Trudi, as it is from before Trudi made Smurf toys. Perhaps it's a Puppy (they also made normal plush Smurfs, the "Classics", that were later reproduced by Trudi).
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:
