I received a few packages today when 2 different postman knocked on our door while I was away at work today. Some of these should of arrived in January or early February although the seller thought I hadn't paid but it was finally sorted out ok.

I received The Painter (keychain), the full set of the original Maccas Smurfs still sealed in the German packages, A Kayak super smurf with the box...my first box for this super...yay....and also the smurfs pictured below:

a couple more....

The Nameplate smurf was sold to me as a promo although I have never seen this one before. Does anyone know what this is or is it just nothing but a regular smurf with some creativity?

Nice smurfs Dyar..I've never seen that namplate promo before, so I'd be interested to know if it is a real promo
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Nice smurfs Dyar and a nice selection too. I love those HPHs and the sockel is fab. :D

Why is it though several smurf packages always tend to turn up together, it happened to me this week too. I know it actually ends up more exciting but then you have the days when nothing arrives.........

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

hi dyar!

you sure got lots of great goodies there!, love the half painted ones

and the white rohlings,etc.. that smurf with the sign I have seen

around, but had no idea if he was a promo..

a local store here had alot of them, last summer, but I passed on them

thinking he was a regular smurf..

but now it may be interesting to find out more!.. hope someone here knows more

---

that half painted one with no mushroom will end up with one???

as I have one of them as well..and they look wonderful with mushrooms!

nice socle too! don;t see that one around at all.

Thanks guys

I know what you mean Rach...I ended up with 3 packages yesterday including about 10 or so regular smurfs including the Painter with keychain which I quite like despite being reasonably common. The thing is that I probably won't get another package for at least a week or more until the next lot arrive on the same day. :banghead: I agree it would be nicer to spread them out a bit so everyday or every second day could be special.

Attom, I don't know if I will end putting a Mushroom umbrella for the HP one. I already had the complete raw (same markings unfortunately) with an Umbrella so this one may stay as it is......then again if I get a spare Umbrella smurf then chances are that I will rob that poor smurf of his protection from the rain and give it to those less fortunate like this HP smurf.......although I did actually have a talk to the HP ones yesterday and told them they are considered really speacial around here so they would feel very welcome.......the sad thing is that I did actually say that to them when Mrs Dyar wasn't close by.

Some nice smurfs there as always Dyar. That nameplate 'promo' is interesting. I suppose the only way to find out if the smurf is official is to find someone who worked in the training centre at the Industrie & Handelskammer in Aalen when they celebrated their 20th anniversary. Er, not much help really :o

Actually that was a big help Tojo as you told me what type of promo it was which I didn't know. I might post the question on the German forum and see what they say....or don't say. :)

That's a colourful repaint there Attom which looks pretty cool.....he's one of those ones that outbids us a lot isn't he? Private bidding.....hmm.
