Hey everyone. Well I finally have my Smurf Collection website up and finished. I actually re-designed and changed the layout from how I had it. It was all finished until I left it for a couple weeks and when I came back to it, I decided I didn't like it. So started again a week or so ago. So mysite didn't even make it online before I decided to change it. Anyway, I like it now. And it's up before I change my mind again. It is great to have my collection online. I can see just exactly what I have. Very large Other Items section actually. And my wants list for all the pvcs I'm missing is a little sad... didn't realise I still needed that many!

So take a look. I'm sure it'll go down in an hour due to bandwidth. lol. I was checking the pages earlier to make sure everything was working and it went down because of bandwidth, so it's only on a geocities free account. I just reduced the file size on the thumbs and photos as well.

And anyone that would like to be linked let me know. I put a few on there (mainly oz members).

Here:

Enjoy! :-D

Hi Brad

I've just had a quick look, didn't want to be on too long so it would go down :)

It looks wonderful :D

Very informative.

I love your banner and your pics are excellent. I also love the "I hate that i don't own this smurf " for ones you don't have ...very clever :-D

Great information on the DVD's with the episode lists.

Looks like you have spent a lot of time on your website, very impressive

I'll add you to my links page tonight :D
:winks: Raelene

Thanks for that Rae! I think I worked on it over the last few months. And of course then changed it a couple weeks back. I still want to re-take photos of my soft toys. I used my own digtal camera for that before I borrowed my grandpas very nice digital camera. I should have re-taken them. And also the Windmill and Farmhouse were taken with my crappy camera. So hopefully I'll replace those soon.

Yes, the 'I hate not owning this smurf', hehe. Needed to create a pic to be displayed for the smurfs I don't have.

Brad.

Looks great, Brad. I love the banner also.

I finally got notification that my vol 8 is on its way. Some problem with the distribution or something with Ezydvd...better late than never, I guess!

Your site looks great Brad. I just had a look through every section and didn't realise you had so much stuff especially in the other items section. It's good to know what you need now so I can keep that in mind.

I also love your 134cm GIANT smurf :) ......that's huge and I can imagine how big he must of seemed when you first got him when you were just a kid.

The banner at the top and "I hate not owning this smurf" are very nice as mentioned by the others.

Very well done :D

Dyar

PS - I will add a link to your site on the weekend...just have to remember how to do it again :)

Nice website Bradley :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

yeah, I was surprised with the amount of other stuff (non-pvc smurfy items) that I had when grouping it all into categories. I've managed to stop buying that sort of stuff now and am just focussing on the pvcs. Most of the stuff in the others section is boxed up and away in the wardrobe. I couldn’t find my smurf bucket. That must be up in the loft. So couldn’t take a pic of that. And also I think my smurf quilt cover was in the wash ( LOL)

Thanks for the comments.

Hi Brad, you have been working hard, your site looks great, well done.

I love the layout, it is nice and clean and very easy to navigate around the site too. You have done great pics and as already mentioned several times, I love the idea of your grouchy "wanted" pics, they are fab. :D

I agree, having your collection on a website makes ot far easier to keep a track of what you have and what you still need and I am glad to hear that it has in fact inspired you to try and get some of the figures that have eluded you so far. :D

I shall add you to both Blue Imps and the Links page here this weekend. 8)

Hey Trish! How are you.
Thanks for that.

Have you started saving for the mid-year toy swap meet again?
Looking at all the passion pics, makes me want June to get here faster. I think I'll be putting more money aside for it this year. Too much to buy last year after the previous year of nothing.

yes for sure! We will have to meet this time.
I think I went in there with just over 60 dollars last year thinking there wouldn't be anything smurfy to buy as the previous year had absolutely nothing. Was quite surprised! So I think I'll have to start putting aside money now. hehe. But I was happy with what I managed to buy. We all did really well from it. So can't wait! I checked the royal show grounds website the other day and they haven't got the event listed yet, which is odd. But then they also haven't got the mid-year earth fair listed either. And that is on at the same time. So a little closer to the date the details will be posted. It's always on the Queens Birthday long weekend in June.

:D no probs!
Just hope it's not a dud year and walk out with nothing.
That stall where, was it Trish who brought the mushroom / flower set from? that wasn't there the previous year. But it had been there in years before. You'll notice the regular stalls when you go this year. I've noticed a lot of the same sellers and they seem to be positioned in the exact same spots each time. But always have new stuff to sell. And of course there are new stalls as well. So yes, hope for some smurfy bargains and good finds!

Brad.
