Paolo asked me for a picture of the new panini sticker album, so here it is. :D The first 57 stickers are portraits of the smurfs. Numbers 58 - 204 are parts of the story which is told in 3 chapters. The story is about the nosey smurf who becomes reporter smurf & starts a newspaper.

Sorry the picture isn't great as it was too big to scan so I had to take a photo of it.

How much do these cost?

Would you be against buying me a book, and big handful of sticker packs, and then I can pay you for it, plus shipping, plus some extra for the favor?

I had all sorts of Panini albums in the 1980s in the USA, I had no idea they were still in production in Europe (which is probably where Panini is from anyway).

I can see if I can get another book. It came free with the latest German smurf comic called Smurf Mag (issue 2/2006) which cost €2.80 - good value if you ask me

The album has a double sided poster as does the comic. I have't seen any of the stickers in the shops yet but I'll be keeping my eyes open :eye: :eye:

Panini is an Italian company by the way.

I'd be interested in the comic too, if available.

Comics here in the USA run anywhere from $3 to $5 each, of course we do not get anything Smurfs, just your typical superhero stuff (Marvel, DC, etc). So definitely a good deal if they came together!

I have friends in Australia and UK for doing trading and helping each other buy things, probably time I get some in other parts of Europe, now that I'm getting back into Smurfs. I can either pay for the favor, or owe a favor for later.

Nice sticker album Tojo. I don't have any of these albums but I have tons of the Panini stickers now including several still int he packets that I haven't opened. I could have a bit of fun putting these all into the albums but I will have to work out which stickers go with what album first.

Thanks for keeping us informed of things happening over there.

Thanks for the pictures and all the informations.
It is really strange that here in Italy we don't have this new 2006 Panini album, considering that they are based in Modena, which is in the north of Italy.
I contacted them via their web site (no answer yet), but in their German section of it there are all the datails and prices of the album and the sticker packets, so I believe the stickers are actually being sold in newspaper stands in Germany.

I corrected the title, as it was missing the T :)

Oops, sorry about that. This keyboard is a pain in the smurf as it often swallows letters while you're typing them

I promise I'll try to pay more attention in future :)
