I was kicking butt...however Syd has been reasonably well behaved this weekend after a big night out on Friday so I haven't had too many probs today.

I think I counted 73 with a few more coming soonish. I might try and aim for 100 by the end of the year but not sure if that would be a possibility at this stage...would be nice to achieve though even if it takes a bit longer. The problem is that I get sidetracked with smurf junk and think anything smurfy is a must have (don't faint Gerda...it probably is )...however it means that I never have the money for the items I do want to bolster in my collection like the rarer variations, sockels, Cermaics, Plastoys, Buildings & rarer Playsets. The other problem of course is space.....and smurf junk can still take up an awful lot of it.

Hi Linda, wow 47 sockels is impressive. I have around 3 on my bedside cabinet . Perhaps a few more dotted around the house, but my god Dyar 73 !!!!!! You are the king of sockels . Has anyone else on the board more than that ??. At that rate you will need a bigger smurf room Lucie

Yeah David posted that he had 100?? (I think that was the milestone) around about Christmas time so hes probably well on the way to 200 now! Dyar and I are glad he's not eligible for the Great Australian Sockel Race.

Too right Linda ....yep I think David is up around 200 and counting by now. The only way Linda and I will be able to close the gap on David is when he completes the set and can't get any more......then we will be slowly sneak up on him in the years to come.

I don't know anyone else who has as many as David.....that is quite an impressive amount and he's far and away the Sockel King.....Linda and me may be able to pass for Sockel Duke & Duchess when we both hit 100.....although I know my credit card is royally screwed at the moment so it might be a tight finish for both of us getting to the 100 mark....but I am sure we will both get there.
