Hi guys, apologies for the delay in posting the picture of the blue toothpaste smurf. We have had quite alot on recently. Si has also managed to find a purple mechanic too in a lot very cheep. Have a look , see what you think. The toothpaste smurf has Hong Kong markings and looks very good. The mechanic is Made in Portugal. We love them both :D Lucie & Si

Nice Murfies you two. I especially like the blue lines in the toothpaste on the (funny enough) Toothpaste Smurf...I have never noticed that before but love the stripe on it.

I wish I had both of these....maybe one day. :D

Well done on both of thse rare smurfs

Nice Smurfs Lucie & Simon - good wins :D
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Oops to answer your question....I am not sure as it's hard to tell from a pic and I don't have either of these or are that familiar with them so I can't offer you any real opinions.

I wish I did have some though, maybe someone else can be a bit more helpful.

Hi Martin, thanks for the mechanic info. Si is quite chuffed , he got the set for 21 euros. As for the toothpaste smurf its a mystery to me. The base of the tube itself is white. The white stripe is actually the base colour. I at first thought it must be fake , but on examining the colour its all the same. Ie the smurf and tube are the same?? I just dont know :-? Lucie

Hi Lucie, congratulations to you and Si, both lovely smurfs. The toothbrush is interesting isn't it. Thanks for the info regarding the paint, that is good to know. :-D

Nice mechanic too, I don't own of these but Thanks to Martin I do know that the shirt of these should be unpainted. :D

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

hi Lucie

I can't give you a expert opinion, but I really think the toothpaste one is
not a fake, as I have not seen one before, which means its either a super rare fake or a new fake..and I rarely miss one..

and since I havn't seen it before, I assume it must be a real one.

my guess is we will only know if we find a ton of them all of a sudden

but sure would bet its real.. rare but real.

Hi!!!!!!!!

Lovely smurfs, Lucie and Simon!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like this variation of mechanic!!!!!!The mechanic smurf is one of my favourites, because it was one of my first smurfs...more than twenty years ago: the green one and an orange one ( without markings, so I think is a CNT...)...Enjoy with your news smurfs!!!!!

PS: I am waiting anxiously to the postman with my new rugby smurf... :mail: I hope he likes my home!!!!!!!!

Well if anyone deserved a rare Dental smurf then I can't think of anyone better than you Lucie....it would be just wrong if you didn't get to own one of these.

Well done to both of you

Thanks guy's, im still a little unsure myself , but what the heck i love any dental smurf's. You would think that working in a dentist i would get sick to the back teeth :) of anything that reminded me of work . Guess im just a sucker for punishment :-D ( actually ive just noticed this icon has teeth too :) (Now aren't i just a sad monkey) !! Lucie :D

Lucie

Is it hygienic to have monkeys working at a dental practice? Even if they are sad I don't think this should be encouraged.

She must drive you bananas Simon :-?
