I got this red surprise smurf today!

but I can't find it in the katalog or on Mushroom.com guide??

and I also got two brainy's with yellow glasses..from two different sellers! and a third on the way.. these were hidden in cheap lots.


any info on the red suprise?/ it is red !! not orange..and very soft rubbery material..

the normal surprise smurfs are hard rubber..like..

Hi Attom, nice smurfs.
Great finds with the yellow brainys, we have found a few in lots as well, very difficult to spot sometimes.

Regarding the all red suprise, I am not really sure. I don't have one to compare to but I always assumed that it would be a similar material.

Here is a close up pic that I have found of one.
I don't know if it will help or not.

the pic you posted is different then mine..yours looks like a solid surprise..more orange..but so does mine in the photo I took! hahahaha

mine is dark red..just like the red rohlings smurfs..and the same texture..???
mine is a bit ( alot) translucent..

Hi Sherlock Attom...fantastic buys once again. I have been after a Yellow Brainy for a while now so if you were interested in selling one please let me know.....although you are probably like me and hate selling off any of your blue treasures.

Love the Surprise Cone/Bag/pointy thingy.....what I would give to splurge on Ebay and webshops without having to worry about the paying side of things.....yeah I know...dream on.

as far as I know there is a red,black and yellow glasses brainy!

who knows?? if there is a green glasses or other colors??/

but he is usually in UK> lots..

don't see much of him in the USA EBAY..

Yep, the yellow brainy was a UK release.

I don't think there are any other colours, red, black and yellow seem to be it.

That is very naughty if correct, I haven't noticed fakes of the suprise bags before, apart from the odd wacky repaint. Worth keep an eye on me thinks.

hello raresmurf, i had bought them from a german seller which ,unfortunatly, i cannot get back on line, no replies for the last 2 years, that is how long i have tried to reach him. I have given up.
I do not think anyone would repaint a genuine red and gold surprise bag, not worthed. A long while ago i have seen them on ebay fetch $125+US.
If they would be faked we would see more of them. But for the last few years i have not seen them.
I enjoy, when i can, reading all your messages, you are the best group i have seen, i really like you all

Great smurfs, Attom! I've heard from someone in Germany that indeed there is someone with some fake schultute (sp?) bags they are putting in the smurfs hands. Not sure if that is one though!

So right on not being able to easily spy out the brainy with yellow glasses.

also its so cute !! or Funny!! but I had my eye on the same lot !! and wasn't 100% sure but thought the brainy was there!they are hard to spot!! hehehe

I am hooked on that smurf..whenever I see him I must have him??? have no idea why..but I like him a lot!maybe its the yellow ELton John glasses??? for a smurf???:lol:
