Yes, or Smurf Sinatra wearing a tuxedo, Smurfette Newton John, Winston Smurfhill smoking a huge cigar & doing a victory sign, Smurf Jagger with big lips.........
I always thought that IMPS might have a problem with "character" smurfs because of copyright issues but I was thinking about this yesterday and it dawned on me that both Dracula and Frankenstein are fictional characters. In these cases I am guessing that any copyright must have been out of date but it does go to show that it might be possible. Another one that has just sprung to mind is Superman.
I agree with you Rach, i've always thought that it would be nigh on impossible for them to make some really good character smurfs just like the ones suggested. But hopefully in the future they may decide to think differently and make some really cool famous smurfy characters......

Superman is still copyrighted, sadly. I believe the copyright on some older figures (Mickey Mouse?) is expiring soon, but they are looking at ways of prolongin it. Dracula, Frankenstein, ... are out of copyright, as is probably Tarzan.
