He's a cutie, Attom! I just got my 15cm Dupuis in the mail today :) I actually had no clue they were so soft and spongelike! I was expecting more of a PVC or plastic feel. Do all the Dupuis have a little hole in the back of their hats? This one looks like something should have been there - maybe a stand hook or something?? :-?

He is in pretty good condition too and not a bad price. Well Christmas is coming afterall.

Nice one.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

They all have that hole (Papa and the other ones as well). I think they were a peeping toy (squeezable), as my Normal has the kind of plastic in his hole (in his head, Dyar, in his head!) that you also findon those peeping squeezable toys. But of course I don't dare to really squeeze him, he's too old for that! This explains also why they are quite soft.
The big one on the other hand is really hard and tends to break easily (mine has a dent in the nose). And 100 Euro is quite a good price for it, certainly in a good condition.
By the way, if you see a sale wheer they don't say if it's the 15 cm or the 30 cm they sell, you can see on the picture if he has eyebrows (30 cm) or not (15 cm). I am following a sale like that, but as Pekkelien is still the highest bidder, I'm not going to post a link here, as not to give her too much concurrents :-)
:sheep: Bored of normality, why not go smurf? :sheep:

Fram - thanks for the hole explanation! That makes sense and agrees with what the seller emailed me after I posted that question. I never would have found him if it weren't for you :)

Oops :banghead: , it's that screenname that's misleading me. Pekkelien, where did you get that name? It sounds like some old Dutch lady from Volendam or something :sofa:
And thanks for the welcome, that's one of the things I like around here! I'm still catching up, almost there, but it's time to go to my cave and get some rest, as it has been a tiring (but fun) week.

There's again a 30cm Dupuis smurf for sale, but beware, because it is repainted, as the seller clearly states (in French). If you don't mind that, here's your chance, it starts at 1 euro!
