You're right David, my confusion, I multiplied the wrong dollar amount.
So yes it is quite a mark up.

Thankyou for the list Staci!

When I saw your scans I realised I have that catalogue! :banghead:
I have had it a couple of months but I haven't looked at it enough obviously!

I better check it out and see what other great stuff I have missed. :)
Trish :wave2:

Staci, thanks so much for the pics. I really enjoy looking at these. The whole first series/pixi series threw me for a loop. Kind of a downer as I liked the first series better due to the closer character likeness and because they looked less sloppy. Looks like I'll have to cancel some of the ones I ordered as they are from the first series. Any recommendations as far as which figs to get?

Also, I ordered the bigger Gargamel but noticed that in order to get papa smurf, you would have to get the smaller scale Gargamel and Azreal?

Thanks again for the pics!!!

Thankyou for the list Staci!
Thanks also from me :D
I'm just thinking though, are they hard to find.
I'm worried there might not be all the different sets to complete the village if I start collecting them :???:

oh I missed the pics somehow. They look really nice, Stace. Did you make the base the village is on? It goes with them really well.

Hi Linda,

That base is a Pixi item... and it costs an extra 45 Euros!!!! (for a piece of ply wood with a bit of grassy stuff on it....)

An expensive set...

The bits I like the most are the buildings... They are just great. The one with the heron is my favorite...

Cheers,

David

The village that I found for sale was at http://www.smrf.l/ which I think was one of the shops that Dyar visited on his travels :-?

oh  Thanks for the info David. I've seen the one with the heron I think on ebay a while back. Anneke was selling it from memory. It was a very nice looking set.

Just having a look on the internet and found the Pixi village for sale at 1836.20 Euros or 1750 if you pay outright. Is this a reasonable amount? :-? Not that I am about to order it as that would involve upsetting the bank manager! Was just being curious :-)
Seeing as you guys have been posting more (tempting) pictures of these pixis today, I thought I would have another look and have found the complete village for 930 Euros.... bit of a difference to the last time I looked!!!!

:D

Wow Stace...you are a good friend. I edited a bit of your post in the above quote as I think it sounds better now.

I can't wait until my birthday....any chance of a harbour and airport to go with my new yacht and the Concorde???

I don't want to sound greedy so if you can't I would just take the airport to make things easier for you

Dyar

PS - 27 days to go....how will you get them all to me?
