I won this lot from eBay and it arrived today.

I have few questions if you have time and knowledge to share (I know, this post cleans last of my image, being true collector who knows about everything :) )

There is this small all blue smurf. Is he one of the OMO smurfs?

And even more interesting (to me anyway) one is that vanity. His markings are : PEYO (c) & ED DUPUIS-UNION . I know I´ve seen that Dupuis mentioned many times before, but I´m not quite sure if I know the story behind this kind of figures. Can you help?

JT

Hi Janne, I am not 100% sure about the mini smurf but he does look like an Omo mini to me. :D

The Dupuis Union smurf as far as I know was licnesed and produced by Dupuis. I have a very vague memory that Dupuis was another toy manufacturer but I am probably wrong with this but I am sure I may have seen other Dupuis products.

I don't know anymore off hand but I will try and find more info later. :D

Ok. It must be TOP SECRET stuff then. Maybe one should not ask about these things :lurk:
This might involve international conspiracy even :sherlock:
Thanks for warning Joaquín. We might have to lay low for a while :joy:
I suspect we might be in some kind of danger  :yikes:

I´l get back to you as soon as I find out mo...

Thank you girls.
I´ll read those posts Staci pointed. Truth is there for sure :grinning:
Ok, I´ll be going then. No need to show me the way to door. I´m off :pinksofa:

Joaquín, if you see this message, I know you´re safe. It was a close call, but maybe we can edit our previous posts so that no one can spot us. Meet you at fountain around midnight. Be sure you´re not followed. Q

I only wanted to say that I had "tongue smurf" (20077) with Dupuis-Union markings, but I had not the chance!!!!!!!!Some times this seems to be a dangerous place to ask odd things :) :)

Oh, Joaquin...if you don't ask, you won't get a completely crazy response though :neener: :)

This is typical cover up operation of conspiracy. First they´ll ignore you and after that give you response that is very difficult to understand. And them claim you are crazy (or me in this case).

I haven´t got solid evidence quite yet. But I´ll keep my mouth open and won´t rest untill bed time :sherlock:

Hi JT, nice smurfies..you can tell if the little smurf is an OMO mini as they have OMO written on their hats. I don't recognise it as one of the minis, but I could be wrong
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

I´ll have to check if there is such text. Minismurf seems nothing like I expected OMO smurfs to be, so there is possibility it´s something completely different.

Hi JT,

Its a little hard to tell from your pic as hes so small but he looks like hes the same as my normal OMO. Theres 16 altogether or so I've been lead to believe. You can see them all on my mini page:

As for the dupius union smurfs there are six total with these markings on them. Very ugly paint job on all of them!!
Heres a link to my dupius smurfs (scroll about half way down the page you can see them all together)

Thanks Gerda!
That was most helpfull. Paintjob is bad indeed. My vanity has differently painted mouth than one on your site. I´ll try to take pictures in near future.
