@Gerda and Smurflady1779: Take also thirsty into serious consideration. I have often seen homemade coca cola, fanta smurfs using thirsty... .

But on the other hand it might be a wise investment to hang on to the waiter smurf because at the rate they are being transformed into "rare" pieces he might be worth something someday as he would become harder to find in his original state
Hi Gerda, this is something I have thought too and as Dominique mentions, other smurfs like Thirsty, Singer etc. One or two wouldn't make much difference but at the rate these are being customised, it could well make an impact. :???:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

I'd better get myself a waiter & thirsty smurf quick then before the Aussies butcher them all :) This could seriously affect which normals I buy next :)

I think it's ok to make custom smurfs just as long as people don't start selling them as real or rare variations.
Yes, that's really stupid...
Watch this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/SMURFS-PROMO-BIG-SP ... dZViewItem

"very rare, promo" etc. and very small: "fake".

I think everbody can make such smurfs for himself (I imagine it would be very funny) , but should never sell them... :???:

i contact the seller and ask him to change the title and description or ill contact ebay to tell them he is tellling lie to innocent collector :???:

That is frustrating Sami... I just hope no one is fooled by this.. It is so tempting some times to email some of these bidders when you see someone bid on an auction like this to warn them, but then I think if you did that then that would be ALL you would be doing as there are so many auctions like this out there and so many people who get taken by these sellers.

I think we have discussed this seller before as it is one of those strange auctions where there is a link in the auction to another (VERY well known) fakes seller's auctions.

He does state fake in the smallest ever text that I have seen but I totally agree, this is a ridiculous fake! :x

Custom smurfs are good for smurf collecting.
Selling them is bad. Mileading people with them is bad. Making them for self and others to enjoy, is good.

I say it´s good.
