I'm no early riser (except I had to get up at 5am yesterday for Australia Day)... ...and now I'm up again early this morn!!!! I think (as it is the weekend) I may have to go for a drive to the beach and chill out to make up for my lack of sleep...

Meanwhile...thanks for saying hello to me!!! When I saw the topic "Renee's up already"...I literally had to rub my eyes and check again cause I thought..."Does that say Renee?"!!!

Well it's 6:48am here...it's overcast...and a bit drizzly...but have I mentioned how HOT it is here lately???!!! How can it be overcast and drizzly at the crack of dawn and still be hot and humid? Maybe if I come and join you guys on the it will be nice and cold...will there be any snow? I only ever saw snow just the once for 5 mins when I was on a tarmac at Munich. I was holding my hands out spinning around exclaiming that there was snow...all the German business people in their black siuts were all looking at my like I had just killed their first born...ok...maybe I was holding up the line of getting onto the plane!!! But what is a girl meant to do when she sees snow for the first time ever?

P.S. A cocktail would be great...Daquaris anyone?

You wouldn't have to go to the beach here to chill out as it's -1°C here at the moment!!!

At least we haven't had all the snow like they have further south. Phew!!

How I wish I could visit a nice warm beach.

I reckon all Aussies have got a great sense of humour. I loved the year I spent down under.

Btw I just looked out the window here at work & it's been snowing, not much but enough to cover the ground a bit.

Yep, Baden-Württemberg & Bayern have sunk into snow chaos!! Hessen has just been freezing cold so far but the snow is forecast.
