Good luck with your auction Christy :) :)

Don't feel ashamed Gerda as they wouldn't have to work 24/7.....maybe they could have a sleep break inbetween somewhere so it didn't seem as cruel for them.

They wouldn't share with you? Who said they would be working for their collections anyway???? :) :)

When it comes to smurfs Sean don't share he just tries to take mine, but he is a sweatheart and hands me money when he thinks he has too much (i'm a good mommy though and don't take it from him.. although I kind of want to at times :)

gerda
ps.. actually right now Sean is on an earn a smurf program. We have a bag of smurfs that he wants and he has to do jobs around the house to earn them, I have him cleaning and cooking and doing my laundry, It's great :D

It's not fair being an adult is it? I mean when I do the cooking / cleaning / gardening / decorating etc. no-one ever gives me a smurf. I don't even get a 'thankyou'.

I reckon we adults should be given a smurf from our kids each mealtime as payment for their dinners. I'd cook them 6 meals a day then :)

Do I sound cruel :o :-? :)

That's not cruel at all, that actually sounds very fair. i agree us adults have a rough life, certain things are just expected from us (like cleaning, cooking etc) I miss my child hood wehre I could get away with doing nothing :???:

I like that Gerda....it's good for you and good for him in many ways...I just hope he didn't have to work too hard and get ripped off for his common Doofus Clown....surely that is only worth cooking a 3 course meal isn't it?

OH, only a 3.. I had him cook a seven course meal with lobster and caviar, and made him learn the violin so he could play it while we ate, maybe I over did it a bit.. Oh well I suppose I could throw in a chewed up smurf for the extra effort 8) :) :)

I love your idea Gerda. That is a great way for Sean to "earn" his smurfs plus some cheap labour for you. :-D

I know Tojo, it isn't fair is it? I would clean, iron etc. so much more if I thought I was going to get a smurf at the end.

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
