Hi
I received a couple of McDonald raws but every of these raws is marked on two different locations with a M or a W.
Anyone knows something about these special markings.
A kind of Muster ??? :?
Overall I lover them

I've never ever seen McDonalds raws before Cheesy, so I can't help..sorry
Long, long ago, deep in the forest, there was a hidden village where tiny creatures lived. They called themselves the Smurfs. They were good.

Wouldn't they just be the "stripped" smurfs? Not that there's much of a difference between the two.

Maybe it's the strippers signature. ;)

welll i just thought about it and if the M or W was for muster these would be painted as it is a way to know how to paint the smurfs...... In an other way if the M or W is fake, the smurf is maybe authentic......Well both way the smurfs have been altered... I don't know if you catch my point..... :-?

yes....I'm also don't know much about these...
Coming from Austria from a non-smurf seller. But the W's are printed everywhere on the smurfs always two times...
Hard to tell..It is looking more like a W not like a M :-S

It definitely looks like a "W" to me as well...especially since the McDonald's "M"s are more rounded.

A very interesting mark Cheesy, one I haven't seen before either, Thanks for showing us. :-D

None of mine have anything like this. I agree, I don't think it is any kind of Muster mark as these were added to completed figures.

Difficult to say whether it is a W or M but I have always thought it odd that the McDonalds PVCs have very few markings. :-?

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......

Couldn't agree more Rachel! How simple life would be. If I recall though didn't Dr. Cleo mark all of her creations :-?

Hi Gerda, I am not sure as I only ever got "regular" smurfs from her. I know Gerorge (Osi Schlumpf) always used to add stickers to his creations and I have thought about ways of leaving some kind of a mark on my repaints but I haven't decided what to do yet. Not that I EVER intend to let any of mine get into the market but just incase as I have repainted some rarer colour variations for demonstration purposes. :D

Yes I have one of these....my friend Doris in Berlin gave it to me as a welcoming present in Berlin.

The sticker says: Comix Non Realistico :) :)
