Stace and I found this gardener smurf in one of the antique malls also...

What is so odd about him are his eyebrows...they are just two dots..Neither of us remembered ever seeing one like it, so I just had to buy it

I have checked Dyar's website and I think I see it on this page 3rd picture down. The markings are the same

Since there are at least two of them out there (and maybe more if anybody else has one like it)..would you consider this a variation or paint error?

I have to admit, I have never noticed one like this before Mo.

But I must also admit that the gardener is probably one of my least liked figures so I haven't really taken that much notice of him. Very interesting to know that both you and Aussie Chops has one though.

Maybe a bit keen at shaving his eyebrows.

I think Syd did this to my Gardener...as Rach said...he is one of the least liked smurfs in the village and also a prime target for someone like Syd when he gets bored of terrorising Brainy.

Since Syd is now on the loose in America and especially in those parts where you guys went....I wonder.......just maybe your Gardener was also a victim of one of Syd's cruel pranks.....it does look to have the same trademark shave as my Gardener.

I wouldn't say it's a paint error.....maybe just a painter's style or something....but since they actually have eyebrows I would have to say it's a variation more so than an error. If there were no eyebrows then it would be more of an error or something that was totally overlooked.

Does anyone else have these markings on the Gardener and the same type of eyebrows?
