they are also from play along..I am not sure if they are only US based or international :-?

I haven't even gotten my DVDs out of the box (not even to take pictures of them for the website) so I don't think the region code is a problem if you don't want to watch....shipping is another question of course as the boxes are quite bulky...but very nice to have :D

Hey Bill
The Jokey and Vanity are only on target.com for now and just the first 3 old ones were on the shelves. I'm sure they will stock them though since they got the first 3 on their shelves :D

Jackks Pacific has a distribution company in Australia. I sent them an email a while back but heard nothing. Might have to phone them and find out if they have any plans for bringing the smurfs line here.

hehe, great photos Staci! The display boxes actually look great dont they. ha, funny about the package mistake. Are you opening your smurfs or leaving them in the display? or buying extra sets to open. How exciting to see smurfs in the shop!

Postby Tojo » Sat Jan 10, 2009 9:49 pm
Ha ha, that mistake on the jokey / grouchy set is funny :)

I really like the display box for the plush smurfs which I think is much nicer than the one for the figure sets.

Why didn't you get some Smurfs while you were out? :o :) :) :) Wow that is impressive. I don't know how many I can pic up at the walmart stores but my target doesn't have that many. Unless they are in the back.
P.S. I didn't notice the Jokey Grouchy mistake untill Tojo pointed it out.
P.S.S. what are you drinking Dyar a guneiss?
P.S.S.S. were you a marine? If so I want to thank you for your service in advance. I was in during Viet Nam but never saw combat. Wasn't in the marines either. Air force. But I did enlist I just thought I could better serve my country there. I was trying to enlist in the army but my cousin talked me into the Air Force.

Hi Bill

I am actually drinking a bourbon & coke which was very yummy....makes it easier to deal with Stace sometimes if you know what I mean...just kidding.....since she is sitting next to me with a clenched fin.

As for the marine question....no i'm not. I am actually wearing a Maine sweat shirt.....with about 4-5 layers underneath because I am not used to a real winter. However, I am staying with a marine creature if that means anything.

I knew it was either a Guniess of a bourbon and coke. I don't really drink hard liquor unless I have a cold, but I drink bourbon and coke in that case. You don't want any of the clenched fin. I have heard its pretty wicked.

Hi Tojo; I don't have enough yet to do that what I can do it box them up and take them to the office (about 100 meters) and see how much postage would be. That will give you an idea no mater who you buy it from over here as it will all be the same. That will tell you how much you want to buy. As Moey said the prices for the plush and playset is $5.99 I just round it up to $6 when I posted. I didn't see the houses. BTW Did someone move this post or am I loseing my mind?
Bill I just mailed all the house playsets and the 6 figure packs to Finlaind for a friend and the shipping was 45.00, they go priority, you don't have a choice.

I didn't have the houses to check it could be that much. Just a thought did you have it in a prioity mail box? I sent something to austrailia in a prioity box and it cost $21 the lady said if I had just used a normal box it would have been $8.65. Which is what my postage machine said. I had to either ship it priority mail or take it back and repack it. I chose to ship anyway.
P.S. maybe finland has to have prioity who knows.
P.S.S. Where were you Moey?

No it wasn't in a priority box, but because of the size of the box needed to ship it and the weight they said it has to go priority and the shipping costs went up the first of this year!!

I was going to say we didn't have a rate change yet this year then I though I had just seen something on it it only affected some weights. They are having another one on the 18th which I think affects all rates. I wish they would just raise the rates a dime and not do it for 5 more years it useually drive us crazy trying to get everyone upgraded to the new rates but they finally have machines that do it themshelve in the middle of the night so no one even notices it happens.

I still have not found them in my store, I stopped at the closest target store to me and the guy looked at me funny when I asked them about the smurfs. Acording to my online search they should be in the madison store but that is almost 2 hours from me and i'm cut off from buying right now :banghead: :( I just hope walmart carries them soon, I did see the big empty area on the shelves with no tags next to the my little ponny and I told Robert that is where the smurfs will be.. I hate waiting :) :)

I don't think they are sold out, I just don't think they have them as there is no room on the shelf for them either, except at walmart where there is everything empty I have high hopes :-D

When I ask people about the Smurfs they usually get excited that they are comming out. Of corse the three people I asked were all girls. The lady at walmart did kind of act supprised but when I told her they were comming to walmart stores soon she got excited.
