1983 USA

This year they added the forklift to the playsets sold. So 5 playsets were sold during 1983,1984 and probably until 1985.

They also changed the back.

Don´t know why they wrote 9 playsets possible?? Maybe it was because of the number 9 on the front.

Actually that also is a bit funny since they never made them like that. It seems they just used the same numbers on the front of the boxes as the german boxes.

But the W Berrie numbers are like this and that also tells us these are the only possible ones and that the gas station never was made here.

6405 garden
6406 fence
6407 gate
6408 mushroom
6409 boat
6410 well
6411 snailcarriage

That was the last picture of the playsetboxes 1-10.

Playset 10 was never made in HK or sold in US.

If you have more information or want to add something let us know. :-D

I forgot to add that there are 2 more boxes I have seen also.

Gerda has one. With only Boat playset written on the box.

And I have also seen one with only snail carriage playset on the box.

So both these without the smurf-word. Don´t know why.

Maybe Gerda can tell us the marking on the box. If it was made in Hongkong or Germany?? :-?

Andre, I am pretty much speechless, excellent work again. I will have to carefully read your posts during the weekend.

I am not that much into playsets yet so I am looking forward to some time to learn more about the timeline :D
