Hi everyone,

I painted my medalvariations today with my daughter. So now I have gold-, silver- and bronze-medalists. As I wanted. :-D

These however, as said before, were never sold like this by Schleich. As you see on the medal it has number 1, and the name is Winner and also Schleich has these facts regarding this smurf:" If you run fast and swim like a blue bolt of lightning, then you can look forward to taking home the gold medal. The colour of victory. Blue." So I don´t think they ever had any other colour in mind. :o

Regarding the prototypes I believe, just like the green trousers on the sprinter and the black pants on the swimmer, they are test of colours before finally desiding which exact colour to use. So to me it looks like the prototypes of the winner are slightly different colours of gold. :-? :D

My daughter painted the bronze one and got some paint on the hand, but I don´t mind since the ones painted by Schleich many times also are a bit sloppy painted.

It just proves that she's now ready to be a Schleich painter.... :) :) :-D
She did a great job, if you hadn't said that she painted the bronze, I would have never guessed it. :D

She actually also got some bronze paint on the nose also but I saw that and removed it before the paint was dry.

Here is another thing I have noticed.

The weightbar now has the cavitynumber on a different place and the date marking is removed from the weights. As you see both are cavity 4. Could be that they made some changes on the bar??? Can´t see any though. :-?

She did a really good job..I think she gets her talent from her mother :) :)

Like Sandra said, if you hadn't explained who painted them, these would go for a lot of money as prototypes :o :D

She bought Schleich-animals for 60 euro in the shop so I believe she feels like a winner even without a medal!! :D It was money she had saved herself and my other daughter bought 2 dinosaurs from her savings. Both were very happy and it is nothing like a early christmaseve, right? :o :-D
