Hi Lizzie,

It sounds like you have found a nice selection there.

It is difficult to tell you how much they are worth without seeing some clear pictures for them.

One of the best way to sell them is probably eBay. Make sure you put detailled pics though otherwise most potential buyers may not see the "one" that is missing from their collection.

Some people would also advise you to wait until the movie comes out in 2008, when many think that the value of all smurfy things will go up... obviously not guaranteed, but there is a chance I suppose!

Cheers,

David

Hi Lizzie,

When I first started selling my doubles on ebay I did a search for the same item and had a look at about what price they started at. You can also do a search for completed listings and see what they end at. Price depends a lot on condition though. People will pay more for a smurf in good condition but then they may pay a bit for a rare smurf in a slightly rubbed condition also.

That said lots of people like a bargain though and if you start them at 99c you will probably attract a lot of interest.

You could also post pics on the forum in the Bootsale section and ask for offers if you want. Or list prices you're willing to sell them for. If you do decide to list them on ebay you could also post your auctions in the bootsale section. I need a yellow scarfed shiver still and the red and white bathers sunbather so if you have them listed I might put in a bid or two.

Hi Lizzie, welcome aboard. :welcome:

I am guessing you are from the UK with that list of smurfs. :)

I totally agree with the others, Ebay is by far your best bet, whether you selll them in a lot or seperately really does depend on condition. Played with smurfs that may have rubs are better sold as a lot whereas if they are in a good condition people are far more likely to buy them if they are sold seperately. :D

Good Luck :goodluck:

Why is it called "common sense" when it is so rare.......
